July 7th 2009 is Guru Poornima this year.As per Hindu calender Ashada poornima (July - August)full moon day in Ashada month is celebrated as Guru Poornima.A very auspicious day for every student, this day we celebrated by worshiping our Guru.
This was the day when Krishna - dwaipayana Vyasa ---wel known as Veda Vyasa Authos of Mahabharata was born. He is the first Guru(teacher) who teach vedas(the oldest sacred texts of the Indo- aryans) to his shishyas (disciple s). He divided the Veda in to four as Rig veda, Yajur veda, Sama veda, Atharvana veda and he teaching them to his four chief disciple Paila, Vaisampayana, Jaimini and Sumantu. this editing the veda s gave the name of Vyasa to the first Guru. Vyasa means - to edit, to divide.
Vyasa the first guru who revealed to man the secret of making the mind as clear as a bright light. That s why this Ashada Poornima is associated with him and all Gurus. The meaning of the Guru word is one who dispels ignorance. So this full moon day we celebrate as guru poornima as a thanks giving day to your teacher.
I think in every persons life mother is the first Guru who teaches us first word and how to talk and each and every step in our life. and my mother is my first Guru.
My father is my second and spiritual guru.
Sai Baba is my Guru
And all my teacher s who teach me the right path in my life.
My spiritual gurus Mahavatar Babaji, Yogi Maharaj Lahiri Mahasaya, Paramahamsa Yogananda, Marshall Govindan Satchidananda, Master Neelakantan
I need all your blessings on this auspicious day and thanks for showing me truth and right path in my life.

BAHA 'i HOUSE OF WORSHIP , BAHAPUR, NEWDELHI

This vacation I was there in Delhi the capital city of India so I visited one of the most important place in Delhi that is the famous BAHA'I HOUSE OF WORSHIP better known as the LOTUS TEMPLE
In the heart of New Delhi, the bustling capital of India, a lotus shaped outline has etched itself on the consciousness of the city's inhabitants, capturing their imagination, fuelling their curiosity and revolutionizing the concept of worship. This is the Baha'I mashriqu'l-Adhar, better known as the LOTUS TEMPLE
AS an evocative symbol of beauty and purity, representative of divinity, the lotus flower remains unsurpassed in Indian iconography. Rising up pure and unsullied from stagnant water. The lotus represents the manifestation of god
The lotus temple provides one of the rare exceptions with its remarkable fusion of ancient concept, modern engineering skill, and architectural inspiration.
When I enter in side the gate I saw the beautiful picture of green gardens in between the green gardens a big Wight Lotus and feel like a heaven
Inside the prayer hall it is divine as you enter you witness peace and spirituality as if you are witnessing god as u meditate in silence. And I thought that my trip to LOTUS TEMPLE is 100% worth it
